Build a Strong Foundation, Deepen Your Expertise
The IMPACT curriculum broadens your business knowledge and hones your skills across key areas—accounting, analytics, entrepreneurship, finance, management, marketing, organizational behavior, and technology. Designed with a global, ethically responsible, and sustainability-focused approach, the program helps you advance your career goals while preparing you to make a meaningful difference.

Your Program
Every Full-Time MBA student embarks on a capstone experience through an Integrated Management Project (IMP). In this intense 10-week project, you’ll work in a small team, guided by a faculty advisor, to tackle real-time business challenges with actual companies, startups, nonprofits, or UC units. Unlike case studies, these open-ended projects require you to deliver actionable solutions based on research, analysis, and creative problem-solving.
Your Community
Faculty advisors with extensive industry and consulting expertise support each IMP team, keeping projects focused and impactful. This collaborative approach, coupled with the fast-paced 10-week timeline, strengthens your ability to manage complex projects under time constraints.

Career Connections
IMPACT projects offer an unparalleled career development experience. Students gain practical insights and establish valuable industry connections. The experience becomes a distinctive resume asset and a strong talking point in interviews, as you develop in-demand skills like rapid data synthesis and persuasive presentation—a competitive edge that enhances your long-term career trajectory.
