Collaborative Advising
Every student majoring in business is assigned an advisor who serves as a source of knowledge and support. This partnership begins the summer before matriculation and continues to graduation.
Advisors work closely with offices across the UC Davis campus to help create better experience for students as they grow intellectually, socially and professionally. Advisors are a point of contact for a variety of issues and questions including the following:
- Academic planning
- Career, major and minor exploration
- General Education requirements and other university requirements
- Major and school requirements
- Academic difficulty including academic notice and subject to dismissal status
- Retroactive changes
- Readmission/withdrawal
- Late drops
Peer Advising
Peer advising is available at the following times. To meet with a peer advisor, please come to the front desk of Gallagher Hall.
