9-Month Lock-Step Program

MPAc is a lock-step program offered as an accelerated degree program completed in nine months.

Our lock-step program allows students the certainty that they will be able to complete their program in less than a year. Benefit from our classes that are exclusively offered for MPAc students, allowing you to engage in a collaborative learning environment with a strong emphasis on team-based engagements and collaboration. All students will complete 48 units of coursework. Students are required to have access to a PC with Windows OS.

Business is changing fast, and data is leading the way.

The merging of business with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields is powering business innovation in the 21st century.

You will learn how to apply data analysis to innovate and inform important business decisions—skills that are in high demand among employers in the public accounting profession, the industry, and government agencies. 

As part of a top public research university, you'll also access cross-campus resources in emerging STEM fields. International students may qualify for up to 36 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT), expanding career opportunities in the U.S.

Prerequisite Coursework

Eligible candidates must have completed the following coursework prior to beginning the MPAc program:

  • Introduction to Managerial Accounting
  • Business Law
  • Statistics
