My name is Larry Yee. I graduated in 2013 as a member of the first class of the Master of Professional Accountancy program at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management.
I started my career in public accounting at PwC, where I spent nine fun and exciting years. From there, I transitioned into venture finance, working as a director of finance for a couple of years before deciding to make a change and join the startup world.
Today, I lead customer success efforts at a fintech company, where I have worked for a little over a year.
I’m very appreciative to be one of, if not the first, recipients from the Master of Professional Accountancy program to receive an Alumni Association award.
It means a lot to me. I feel that the program has given me so much throughout my professional career. It gave me a network, technical guidance and a foundation to give back to the community and be recognized for that service.
This award means a lot, and I am incredibly grateful to receive it.
