Peer Advising
For Undergraduate Students
Peer advisors are current UC Davis students who are well-informed about a variety of advising topics and serve as a valuable resource in the Business Advising Office. Business major students, accounting minor and technology management minor students, and students seeking to declare the business major can meet with peer advisors on a drop-in basis to learn more about:
- Degree requirements
- Course selection and academic plans
- Double majoring and minoring
- Online tools such as Schedule Builder and OASIS
- Business-related clubs and engagement opportunities

Peer advising is available at the following times. To meet with a peer advisor, please come to the front desk of Gallagher Hall.
Meet Our Peer Advisors
Hazel Villapando is a fourth-year student majoring in managerial economics and double minoring in accounting and technology management. In addition to being a business peer advisor, she enjoys spending her free time reading, going out to eat and crocheting. After graduating from UC Davis, Hazel plans to pursue her master's degree in accounting and CPA license.
Renata Rosales-Verdugo is a second-year student majoring in business. In addition to being a business peer advisor, she serves on the board for the Davis Business Collective (DBC) and is involved in Davis Women in Business (DWIB). She also does Brazilian jiu-jitsu at the ARC and loves to make art in her free time, whether it's drawing, sewing or zines. Renata is currently pursuing a career in finance to become an entrepreneur to follow her passion for sustainability.
Brooke Barson is a second-year managerial economics major, double minoring in accounting and business at UC Davis. At Davis, she is a part of Greek life as a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and is currently working on her Bloomberg Terminal certification. Aside from school, she loves to dance, hike and watch movies with her friends.
