Matthew Zaragoza-Watkins studies industrial organization, focusing on the design and performance of energy and environmental markets. Zaragoza-Watkins previously served on faculty at Vanderbilt University and in senior policy roles at the Environmental Defense Fund and the California Air Resources Board. He has advised policymakers in China, India, and the United States on the implementation of regional emissions markets and greenhouse gas policy.
