This club is committed to preparing students who wish to enter either a marketing or product management career. We provide related information and resources, and organize events to help students throughout the recruitment process.
Davis Marketing and Product Management club works with students who are passionate about marketing and/or product management career tracks.
Our Mission
Our goal is to enhance the product management and marketing knowledge and experience. We expose, enrich, and explore the various career options in marketing analytics, product management, and product marketing. We achieve these goals through the speaker sessions, networking events, specialized learning modules, course advisory, interview preparation, analytical workshops like Tableau and MS Excel, and interesting company treks in the bay area.

Meet our Board

Carolyn Gruebele
Co-President
Carolyn Gruebele is a full-time MBA candidate specializing in product management. She has experience in product management, user experience, digital marketing, market research and campaign optimization. She’s passionate about building a supportive community where students interested in product and marketing can connect, learn from each other and grow professionally. Gruebele thrives on problem-solving, creativity, continuous learning and working with others. For fun, she enjoys drawing, painting, hiking and trying new restaurants.

Abhishek Singh
Co-President
Abhishek Singh is a first-year MBA candidate at UC Davis with more than seven years of experience in consulting, product strategy and data-driven operations at companies such as Deloitte and Amazon. He is passionate about building customer-centric products and helping early-stage companies scale with purpose.
At the Graduate School of Management, he serves as president of the Marketing & Product Management Club and enjoys supporting his peers as they navigate careers in tech, product and strategy.

Kaustubh Chaturvedi
Co-Vice President
Kaustubh Chaturvedi is a full-time MBA candidate at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management. He has built his career across marketing, investment promotion, political consulting and information technology, working with global organizations, startups and government agencies. His work has centered on creating data-driven strategies, leading teams and driving business growth through innovative marketing and brand-building efforts.
Originally from India, Chaturvedi is passionate about storytelling, creative collaboration and building strong, engaged communities. As vice president of the Marketing & Product Management Club, he is excited to amplify the club’s initiatives and bring more events to both the club and the broader GSM community.
Outside of school, Chaturvedi enjoys exploring new cities, listening to old songs, reading about commercial aviation and diving into brand strategy projects.

Marianna De Lima Freitas
Director
Marianna De Lima Freitas is a chemical engineer and graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology who is currently diving into the world of product management. She is enhancing her skills through the MBA program at UC Davis, with a focus on business analytics and operations.
Marianna is passionate about transforming data-driven insights into real-world solutions that make a meaningful impact for customers. She enjoys tackling complex challenges and driving innovation in product development to create value for businesses and their clients.
Outside of her studies, Marianna stays active by running long distances—she has completed several half marathons and marathons. She also enjoys cooking and is currently learning basic German just for fun. For her, it’s all about finding joy in the journey.
