The GSM Biotechnology & Healthcare Association (BHA) connects all GSM students with the biotechnology and healthcare industry through networking, professional development and experiential learning opportunities.
Our Mission
The GSM Biotechnology & Healthcare Association brings together students eager to explore the intersection of science and management. Our mission is to cultivate a collaborative community focused on biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceuticals and healthcare innovation. We aim to provide resources, industry connections and experiential learning opportunities that prepare our members for leadership roles in a rapidly evolving sector.
What We Do
- Industry Speaker Series: Host panels and invite leaders from biotech companies, startups, venture capital firms and research institutions to discuss emerging technologies, market trends and career pathways.
- Mentorship Program: Connect members with UC Davis alumni and industry mentors who provide guidance on professional development, job searches and entrepreneurial pursuits.
- Cross‑Club Collaboration & Community Engagement: Partner with other GSM clubs and UC Davis departments to host interdisciplinary events and promote STEM outreach initiatives.
The Biotech Club welcomes all Graduate School of Management students, whether you have a scientific background or simply a curiosity about the business of biotech. By joining, you’ll gain valuable insights, build a strong professional network and help shape a lasting legacy for future GSM cohorts interested in biotech.
