Online MBA Virtual Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club
Virtual Innovation and Entrepreneurship (VIE) Club for the Online MBA program serves to educate incoming and current students of the opportunities that exist at UC Davis for entrepreneurial and innovative interests.
VIE Club plans a variety of events, such as:

- Book, podcast, and readings discussions
- Socials (in person and virtual)

- Panels on the Online MBA experience
Club Mission
Our mission is to make our community a wealth of resources for first-time entrepreneurs and facilitate a diverse support network. From hopeful founders to curious newcomers, all backgrounds are welcome to learn with us and support each other through the entrepreneurial process.

Fabiola Addamo
VIE Alumni Liaison

Fabi Addamo is a first-generation immigrant, born in Sicily, Italy. She is a business program manager at Meta. She holds a B.A. in classical piano from the Vincenzo Bellini School of Music, a B.A. in Italian from San Francisco State University and a professional certification in graphic design from U.C. Berkeley Extension. She has served for a few years as a mentor for the Techwomen program, an initiative from the U.S. Department of State. She enjoys public diplomacy efforts and has also volunteered at the United Nations Association of San Francisco.
Her passion for the arts grew out of a dream in 2010 inspired by her deceased father. She literally woke up and started sketching. Afterwards, she participated in solo and group art shows in the U.S. and abroad. With her artistic brand she participated in Geeks on a Plane {South East Asia and Middle East), the invite-only tour for startups, investors and executives to learn about high-growth technology markets worldwide organized by 500 Startups, a global venture capital firm. She is working on a business idea to integrate wellness, design and technology as she is personally promoting a creative, healthy and balanced lifestyle. In her free time, she is passionate about animals, wellness and design. She makes comics inspired by animals. She literally thinks in images and colors and is highly connected to her intuition. She lives in Northern California.
Gregory Adkins

Greg Adkins is an MBA candidate who was raised in Los Angeles before he moved to earn his undergraduate degree in psychology at UC Davis. He currently works as a financial advisor helping business owners and families achieve financial independence and invest wisely. He also serves as cofounder and CFO of a medical technology startup. His passion is helping to create a level playing field and helping people live life abundantly by providing financial education and access to valuable resources. He is married and a proud father. His Spotify repeat playlist now has more songs from Disney and other movie soundtracks than any other genre.
Utsav Sarkar

Utsav Sarkar is an MBA candidate who is a software consultant and lead business systems analyst at Robert Half International. He currently holds a BSc in computing science from UC Davis. He is also an entrepreneur and has cofounded multiple companies over the last 10 years. Some of them include So Many Errands Inc, Trusted Ratings and Munchkin Freebies. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and has recently completed the Founders Institute Incubator Program in Toronto, Canada. In his spare time, he loves to go hiking with his wife and 2 dogs. He loves traveling and has been to every continent in the world except for Antarctica (which is currently high on the bucket list).
Cesar Patrick Gamez

Cesar Patrick Gamez is currently a quality engineer at Aerojet Rocketdyne. He received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from UC Merced. After earning his MBA, he intends to go after the key certifications in his field through the American Society for Quality (ASQ) to become a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and then a Certified Manager of Quality/Operational Excellence (CMQ/OE). If you can't tell, he has a passion for quality (and acronyms) and is using his experience in the UC Davis Online MBA program to help him develop the skills needed to eventually create or manage a Quality organization.
