I chose UC Davis for its supportive faculty, small class sizes, and proximity to my hometown of Yuba City. The beautiful campus, with its greenery and abundant wildlife—watch out for the turkeys, they can get feisty—also influenced my decision. The small-town feel ultimately solidified my choice.
